Begin
I've finally finished my early spring sweater (even though MN has seemed to have completely skipped spring and moved on to summer). We're all afraid it's because of climate change, but all selfishly "will take it."
Some of my early season plantings are taking as well. I'm hoping to expand the container garden for the season with this early start. I recently found a container vegetable garden website which is full of great information. Check it out here.

Modern Homestead
Often times I don't know if I want to live in the city or a secluded wooded area. Living a simple life just making things and caring about what's most important is becoming more and more appealing to me, and I do believe, to many others also.
Micro Homes
I first came across the micro home phenomenon a few years ago as the green/minimal/humble movement began. I do have a tendency to try to simplify my life and cut down to the essentials. It's always important to remember that we can live very fulfilling lives with so little. One of the first micro home projects was the "Micro Compact Home". The homes were prototyped and trialed by students attending TU Munich in 2005. It seems as though every feature inside the home has multiple uses, with good reason, the home is but a mere 78 sq ft (22 sq meters).

Sunday Morning
Hi there! Just finding a little solace in Sunday morning. No matter what's going on in life, I feel like I can always count on a quiet morning to myself, making things, reading, or spying on those who are still sleeping in.
A quick shop update as well: Art prints are now available!

Progress Report
Chipping away at the sweater project. I've gotten a lot done already which feels good - but also reminds me that I can be a complete shut-in. Whatever works, right? And how being a shut in with a little drink feels questionable, but also feels totally awesome!
Combine these things and drink a Hot Toddy:
1 oz. Whiskey, Brandy or Rum
1 Tablespoon Honey
1/4 Lemon
1 Cup Hot Water
1 Tea Bag
1 Cinnamon Stick
2 Cloves
